Several Student-Athletes Recognized At Student Engagement Recognition Ceremony

Several student-athletes were recognized at the SUNY Broome Student Engagement Recognition Ceremony last Wednesday.

20 SUNY Broome student-athletes attended the Student Engagement Recognition Ceremony last Wednesday and were honored for their athletic and academic success; and leadership. 

More than 20 student-athletes maintained a 3.5 or higher GPA during the 2024-25 academic year, and all 20 in attendance at the ceremony were recognized as Scholar Athletes for having accomplished this feat. 

Additionally, Sophia Ashman, Nicholas Ragonese, and Amauri Truax were recognized as Outstanding Student Leaders for their dedication on the playing surface and in the classroom; and the positive impact their efforts had on the SUNY Broome campus community. 

Congratulations to all SUNY Broome student-athletes on a successful academic year.
