Baseball Swept In Dryden
The SUNY Broome baseball team played a doubleheader with Tompkins Cortland CC in Dryden and lost the first game 13-2  and lost the second game 13-10. 
In game one the Hornets scored two early runs on RBI's from Troy Scales and Adam Kettle. Kettle had three hits in the game while Matt DePalmo, Rachid Martie and Joe Klenchik also had multi-hit games. The Hornets left 10 runners on base in the 5 inning game.
Game two brought hot bats early again for the Hornets, scoring four runs in the first inning. The Hornets also scored four runs in the fifth inning. Henry Pellicciotti had three hits while scoring three runs in the game, also driving in two runs. DePalmo and Joseph Hamdan each added two RBI's in the game. Kettle added another multi-hit game in the losing effort, going 5-8 for the day. Pellicciotti went 4-8 for the day. The Hornets gave up 13 unearned runs  while leaving 21 men on base throughout the doubleheader. 

Broome is now 0-8 overall and 0-8 in Region III. Up next is a game This Saturday, April 10th at 2:00 p.m. against Corning CC at Hornet Field.
