SUNY Broome played a doubleheader with Corning CC at Tuller Field in Corning and lost game one 4-2 and lost game two 4-0.

Game one saw the Hornets score early on an RBI single by Joe Klenchik (Binghamton, NY/Binghamton) and scored again in the fourth when Joseph Hamden (Johnson City, NY/Johnson City) drove in Klenchik on a single to centerfield. Klenchik finished the game 3-4 with an RBI, while Adam Kettle (Johnson City, NY/Johnson City) added two hits.
Game two saw the Hornets struggle hitting again only managing three hits throughout the game from Troy Scales (Johnson City, NY/Johnson City), Klenchik and Kettle. Christopher Sweeney (McGraw, NY/McGraw) posted a quality start throwing a complete game for the Hornets, allowing four runs on six hits. Klenchik finished the day 4-7 at the plate, all singles. 
Broome's record is now 1-11 overall and 1-11 in Region III. Broome's next game is Tuesday, April 21st at 2:00 p.m. against Erie CC at Hornet Field.
