Baseball Drops Two At Home
The Hornets were swept in a doubleheader with Onondaga Community College at Hornet Field today, dropping the first game 11-1 in 5 innings and the second game 6-5.

The Hornets defense (5 errors) and offense (5 hits) were lacking in game one as the the Lazers plated 11 runs, only 3 of which were earned. Rachid Martie was the only Hornet with more than 1 hit, going 2 for 3.

In game 2, the Hornets jumped out to a 5-2 lead. Adam Kettle drove in 3 runs with a double in the first inning  and a single in the the fifth inning. However the Lazers came back with 4 runs in the sixth inning to take the lead for good. Henry Pellicciotti went 2-2 with 2 runs scored. Troy Scales drove in 2 runs with a single and a sacrifice fly. 

Broome's record is now 4-18 overall and 4-18 in Region III. Broome's next game is Saturday, May 2nd at 1:00 p.m. against Finger Lakes CC at Hornet Field.
