Baseball Ends Season Against Erie CC At Home
The Hornets closed out their season with a doubleheader against Western Conference co-leader Erie CC at Hornet Field today, the Hornets were swept 16-14 and 6-1.

Game one found the bats coming alive for both teams. Erie jumped out to an early 5-0 lead before the Hornets scored five in the third. Henry Pellicciotti had an RBI base hit in the inning for the Hornets, along with RBI base hits from Matt DePalmo, Adam Kettle and Erick Wortman. Down 16-9 in the bottom of the seventh, the Hornets made things interesting by scoring five runs before the rally came up short. Pellicciotti ended the game going 4-5 with four RBI, while Kettle, Wortman and Troy Scales all had 2 RBI for Broome.

Game two saw the bats quiet down for each club. The Hornets managed only two hits in the game, both coming in the first inning. Rachid Martie singled and was driven in by Pellicciotti on an RBI double.
