The Hornets couldn't match up with the Thunderwolves on Friday, losing both games at home, 19-3 and 15-0. In game one Broome took an early lead in the first inning but Niagara came back in the top half of the second for the 2-1 lead and never looked back. Kyle Novobilski, Matthew Bowman and Alex Kocan had two hits each to account for six of the home team's ten hits. Isaiah Colgan was tagged for fourteen hits in the loss.

In game two the bats went silent for the Hornets. Bowman's single in the bottom of the fifth broke up the visitors no-hitter. Christopher Puzakulics took the loss on the mound for Broome.

Broome is off now for Spring Break and will return to action on Saturday, the 22nd with a road game against Jamestown CC beginning at noon.
