Men's Basketball was beat by Herkimer College on Saturday afternoon in the Baldwin Gymnasium, 79-62. SUNY Broome got off to a strong start on their home floor. They built a lead as large as 9 points in the first 14 minutes, 32-23. Then the momentum would change. Over the last 6 minutes of the half, Herkimer would outscore the Hornets 13-2, to take a 2 point lead into halftime 36-34.

Herkimer's momentum would carry over to the second half, as they scored the first 7 points to go up by 9, 43-34. The General's run between the halves would equal 17-0 and Broome would not recover. The largest lead was 17 for Herkimer. The Hornets showed some resilience by cutting it to 10 with about 5 minutes to play, but that was the closest it would get.

Anthony McNeil topped all Broome scorers with 20 points and recorded another double double with 11 rebounds as well. Sean Webb added 13 points with 5 rebounds and 3 assists coming off the bench. Terry Solomon was next with 11. Adolphus Butts contributed 7 points with a team high 5 assists.

The Hornets next game is Thursday at home against Northampton CC with the tipoff scheduled for at 7:00 p.m.
