Broome Picks Up MSAC Home Victory

Broome ended a 3-game losing skid on Saturday with a 90-71 victory over visiting Tompkins Cortland CC. The Hornets took a 48-34 lead into halftime, only to see the Panthers come back with eight minutes left in the second half to make it a 2-point game, 65-63. The home team responded to the Panthers' run with a 25-8 run of their own to close out the game.

Sean Webb led Broome with 26 points, followed by Adolphus Butts' 18 points. Anthony McNeil added 16 points and 12 rebounds, and Raheim Grant chipped in with 15 points. The Panthers' Malik Starks led all scorers with 27 points.

Broome will travel to Watertown on Monday for a 7:00 p.m. game against Jefferson CC.
