Broome fell to Finger Lakes down the stretch, 99-71, on Wednesday night in Canandaigua. The Hornets kept the game within striking distance for most of the second half but a hot shooting, late stretch by the Lakers opened the game up significantly. Tron Smith, Jr. led all scorers on the night with 23 points and grabbed 7 boards. Rahiem Grant added 17 hard earned points, Reginald Vaughan dropped in 11 with 3 assists and Lucas Iacobucci added 10 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists.
Broome is back on the road on Friday night, facing Tompkins Cortland CC in another MSAC match-up scheduled for 8:00 P.M.
