Early Deficit Costly For Hornets

An early double digit lead by Jefferson CC turned into an 85-68 MSAC loss for Broome on the road Monday night in Watertown.  Broome battled to stay in striking distance for most of the game, but wouldn't get close enough.  With the loss, Broome drops to 2-19 overall; 0-9 MSAC while Jefferson improves to 5-16 overall; 3-4 MSAC.

Reginald Vaughan led the way in the scoring column for Broome with 25 points and had 4 assists.  Zakariyya Williams was the only other Hornet in double figures, scoring 19 points, including four 3-pointers, and also grabbing 8 rebounds. 
 
Broome takes the road again on Wednesday night, traveling to Syracuse for a 7:00 P.M. matchup against Onondaga CC.
