The men's basketball team fell to Tompkins Cortland CC at home on Saturday by a score of 93-82.  The loss is the Hornets' third straight game in January, and their second MSAC contest.

Broome put together a good offensive first half, and held a halftime lead of 47-40, but the Panthers pressure in the second half led to turnovers and would eventually wear down Broome's short roster.  TC3 won the second half 53-35, on their way to an 11 point victory.

Tron Smith would lead the Hornets in scoring on the day with 21 points, to go along with 7 rebounds and 3 assists. Noah Economides knocked down six 3-pointers on his way to 18 points, Christian Sage also scored in double figures with 17 points and Zachary Porter added 11 points and 8 rebounds.

Broome travels to Syracuse on Tuesday for a MSAC matchup against the Onondaga Lazers, scheduled to tip at 8:00 P.M.
