Men's Basketball

Coach Joshua Frederick, a Binghamton native, took over the men's basketball program as Interim Head Coach in January of the 2018-19 season after two previous years of being an Assistant, and one and a half years of being the Associate Coach.  The 2019-20 season, will be his first full year as the Head Coach of SUNY Broome Men's Basketball.  His aspirations are to build consistency with the roster and to improve the team's success on the court as well as in the classroom.

 

Prior to joining the Coaching Staff at Broome, Frederick assisted the Binghamton High School Boy's Program for four years.  During that span, the program won Division, STAC, and Section IV Class AA Championships.

 

After, graduating from SUNY Cortland in 2010 with a Bachelor's Degree in Sport Management, Frederick interned with the Binghamton University Women's Basketball program as Basketball Operations Intern.  That season, 2010-11, the Bearcats tied their best overall wins mark as a Division I program with 19, and the 11 conference wins were the most since the 16 game America East Conference schedule.
