The men's ice hockey team lost to Region III opponent Hudson Valley CC 7-2 on Saturday afternoon at the BCC Ice Center. MJ Maerkl (Hillcrest/Chenango Valley) had both of Broome's goals while Kevin Cullen (Baldwinsville/Baldwinsville) and Connor Lofgren (Ithaca/Ithaca) assisted on each goal.

James Murphey had three goals and an assist to lead the Vikings (4-4) while Mike Faye had 22 stops in net for the visitors. Joakim Axen (Onsala, Sweeden/Elof Lindalv) had 29 saves and Scott Boyd (Arrowwood, Canada/County Central) had 12 for the Hornets (5-5). 

Broome will face off this Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. against the Cornell University Club Team in the BCC Ice Center.
