Hockey Team Shows Support For Hockey for Hope

For the third straight year the BCC Ice Center is the home for the Hockey for Hope Charity Hockey game.  The game was created four years ago by Brian Laing to raise money for the Geller Oncology Fund at Lourdes Hospital.  Broome hockey coach, Jim Lalley, participated in the game while six Hornet hockey players David Zalayet (New Hyde Park, NY), Scott Boyd (Arrowwood, AB), Glen VanDinther (Horseheads, NY), Zach Gebert (Moosejaw, SK), Joakim Axen (Onsala, Sweeden), and Team Captain Mike Sniffen (Syracuse, NY) volunteered their time working at the game in various capacities.
