The hockey team defeated Mohawk Valley CC in Utica Wednesday night 6-4 in a Region III hockey game. The Hornets scored six power play goals against the Hawks in the victory.  Tyler Zweig (Chenango Forks/Binghamton, NY) scored two of the power play goals including the game winner, and added an assist as well.  Mat Culcasi (Pennfoster/Chesapeake, VA) had a goal and two assists, Brian Cole (Susquehanna Valley/Conklin, NY), Jason O'Brien (Binghamton/Binghamton, NY,), and Chris Alston (Canton/Pittsburgh, PA) all scored power play goals in the victory.  Goaltender Dylan Snyder (Arlee/Arlee, MT) stopped 49 of 53 Mohawk shots. 

SUNY Broome will host Lemoyne College this Saturday at 3:00 p.m. in the SUNY Broome Ice Center.
