The ice hockey team gave up 12 goals in a 12-2 loss to Region III powerhouse Monroe CC Saturday afternoon at the  SUNY Broome Ice Center. Michael Ferranti (Chenango Valley/Binghamton, NY)and Karel Simek (Business Academy/Czech Republic) scored a goal apiece in the second period for the Hornets.

The Hornets fell to 4-5 on the year and travels to Syracuse Sunday for a 7:00 p.m. hockey contest against LeMoyne College's club team.
