The Hornets came up short in the 1st Annual Presidents Cup against the Binghamton University Club team falling 2-1 to the visitors. All three goals came in the first period of the contest. SUNY Broome's lone goal came from Michael Feranti (Port Crane, NY/Chenango Valley) off an assist from Nicholas Frati (Churchville, NY/Churchville-Chili). Dustin Plumadore (Plattsburgh, NY/Beekmantown) had 23 saves in net for the Hornets.

The Hornets (12-6) will face off next Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in Utica, NY against Mohawk Valley CC.
