Ice Hockey Drops Home Contest

The ice hockey team dropped their first game back from the semester break to Hudson Valley CC on Thursday night 4-2 at the SUNY Broome Ice Center. The Hornets opened the scoring in the first on a power play goal from Austin Bradish (West Chazy, NY/Beekmantown), with assists going to Cameron Dunn (Binghamton, NY/Binghamton) and Ryan Norris (Rochester, NY/Hilton).  Josh Maus (Binghamton, NY/Chenango Forks) would put the Hornets on the board again scoring on a pass from Matthew Evans (Binghamton, NY/Windsor). After that it was all Vikings, scoring four unanswered goals, two in the 2nd period and two in the 3rd period. Owen Miller (Endicott, NY/Union-Endicott) made 33 saves for the Hornets (7-5).

Up next is a road trip to face off against the Kats (14-4) from Erie CC this Saturday with a 2:40 p.m. scheduled start.
