Hockey Team Falls In Rochester

The men's ice hockey team fell to the St. John Fisher Club team 8-3 Sunday in Rochester.  SUNY Broome had three players score in their last road game of the regular season.  Ruslan Moskvitin scored on a power play with assists going to Matthew Evans and Alex Whitehair.  Whitehair then found the back of the net early in the 3rd period on another power play with an assist going to Austin BradishRichie Bittles scored the final goal for the visiting Hornets with an assist going to Bradish. Owen Miller faced 35 shots in two periods of action making 28 saves and Nicholas Nestlerode stopped 9 of the 10 shots he faced in the third.

The Hornets will close out the regular season at home this Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. against Mohawk Valley CC.
