Despite out shooting Herkimer 31 to 28 Broome was unable to consistently find the back of the net and lost 14 to 6. The Hornets out shot the Generals  14 to 6 in the first quarter and 11 to 7 in the second quarter but could only get 2 past the Herkimer goalie Austin Loeffel. Herkimer led 5-2 at the half and led the entire game. Broome had numerous opportunities to score in the first half but could not convert. Michael Ferranti (Binghamton, NY/Chenango Valley) had 2 goals and Jacob Green (Binghamton, NY/Chenango Forks) added 1 goal and an assist. Goalie Nicholas Figuerado (Owego, NY/Owego Free Academy) had a career high 15 saves in the game.

Broome is now 1-2 overall and 0-2 in Region III. Up next the Hornets play SUNY Delhi at 7:30pm at Binghamton Alumni Field.
