Lacrosse Ends Season On A High Note

The Hornets defeated Finger Lakes CC 15-5 at home on Saturday in their final match of the 2018 season.  The Hornets (3-7) gained an early lead on the visiting Lakers (1-13) outscoring them 4-0 in the first half, with goaltender Ryan Madden stopping all 13 shots faced while Nicholas Pert scored the first 4 goals of the quarter.  In all, seven different players netted goals for the host team led by Pert and Justin Goodspeed with 4 goals each.  Kenaniah Saginario followed with 3 goals and, Devin Weldon, Terrell Cruz, Tanner Gell and Vincenzo Scarapicchia all added a goal apiece. Madden had 25 saves on the day in net for Broome. 

Broome earned two of their three wins in the last two games of the season to finish 3-7 on the year.
