Men's Soccer Team Ends Season On A Winning Note
The Hornets season came to a close on a  winning note Wednesday evening in Dryden defeating rival Tompkins Cortland CC 2-1 in a MSAC soccer contest. Kyle Garner scored in the 18th minute off of his left foot, a bending shot into the upper left outside of the goal past the outreaching arms of the goalkeeper. Broome continued their run in the second half controlling play and in the 71st minute Nathan Krome received a pass from Tyler Smith and took a hard shot that landed in the back of the net.  The Panthers answered with a shot of their own in the 72nd minute by Morgan Shutter who came in on a break away.
The Hornets finished the year 4-12-1 overall and 2-5 in Mid-States.
