The men's soccer team lost to Niagara County CC 5-4 in PK at Alumni Field on a rainy Wednesday afternoon in the Region III Semi-Finals. After a scoreless 2OT contest it came down to the PKs to decide the right to advance to the NJCAA Region III Men's A Championship game this Saturday in Herkimer. The #12 Thunderwolves will face top seeded Genesee CC at 3:00 P.M. and #3 Cayuga CC will match up against #2 Herkimer College at noon in the B Championship.

The Hornets defeated the Thunderwolves back on September 5th 6-0 but the game visitors and a rainy day made the difference in Wednesday's contest. Niagara County (6-12-1) advanced in the Region III Division III playoffs following Hudson Valley CC's forfeiture of last Saturday's Sub-Regional game. Broome's finished the season with an overall record of 11-6 and 3-3 in the MSAC.
