All it took was one goal early in the first half for the Hornets to come out on top, 1-0 over visiting Dutchess CC on a hot, sunny Saturday afternoon. The Hornets scored the only goal of the contest in the 11th minute when Harris Brkovic headed home a long free kick from Joe Padden. Tyler Elliott came up with 6 stops to earn his second win in as many games.
SUNY Broome improves to 2-0 on the season and takes on the visiting Corning CC Red Barons this Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.
