Men's Soccer Team Improves To 3-0

The men's soccer team remained unbeaten with a 4-0 win over visiting Corning CC Wednesday afternoon at Alumni Field. The scoring started early for the Hornets by way of an unassisted Harris Brkovic goal 40 seconds into the contest, his first of three goals. Joe Padden netted another unassisted goal at the 10:22 mark for a 2-0 halftime lead. Brkovic again put the Hornets on the board early in the second half off an assist from Padden, before a Christian Rosics pass led to the completion of Brkovic's hat trick in the 87th minute.

Tyler Elliott stopped all six of the Red Barons' shots on goal. Broome (3-0) outshot Corning (0-2) 21-11 and had the advantage on corner kicks, 6-4.

The men play the second game of a doubleheader on Saturday, scheduled to start at 3:00 p.m., against Niagara County CC (2-1) in Sanborn, NY.
