The men's soccer team defeated Mohawk Valley CC in Utica this afternoon 3-0 in a Region III match to improve their record to 5-0. The Hornets (5-0) opened up the scoring with a goal by Harris Brkovic who received a pass from Lisberto Calvo to make it 1-0. The visitors added a second goal early in the second half when Kyle Pryor found Calvo on a long pass and made it 2-0. The third and final goal came when Damian Rutan crossed the ball to Michael Rodriguez-Lopez for the 3-0 lead. Tyler Elliott preserved his unbeaten streak with 2 saves in net.
The Hornets take on North County CC in Saranac Lake, NY this Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
