Men's Soccer Team Earns 11th Win In Jamestown

SUNY Broome men's soccer team traveled to Jamestown, NY on Monday and left with a 2-0 win against Jamestown CC. Harris Brkovic opened the scoring with a well taken direct free kick in the 34th minute that nestled in the top corner. Both sides fought hard for the remainder of the half but the Hornets (11-1;4-0 MSAC) were able to keep the Jayhawks (1-10-2) scoreless. The 2nd half was a midfield battle with the Hornets  creating some nice chances. Lizberto Calvo finished the scoring for Broome with 4:44 left in the game off a nice ball from Mark Lee. Tyler Elliott earned his eleventh win, seven of those came via shutouts.

Broome will host SUNY Adirondack this Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. on Alumni Field in a Region III contest.
