The men's soccer team lost a hard fought match in Syracuse Wednesday evening to MSAC opponent Onondaga CC, 2-0. The Lazers (8-2) took a 1-0 lead midway through the first half after a corner kick was put in net by Nick Bitz.
Onondaga doubled the lead midway through the second half when Georges Betoubam found the back of the net for the final 2-0 score.
Gustavo Cichorski-Ribeiro (Sao Paulo, Brazil/Colegio Nossa Senhora do Morumbi) made 7 saves in net for the Hornets.
SUNY Broome plays host to Erie CC one week from this Friday at Alumni Field at 4:00 P.M.
