The men's soccer team defeated Tompkins Cortland CC 3-0 at Alumni Field in a Region III matchup on Wednesday afternoon.  Ismar Turkovic had two goals for SUNY Broome, the second match in a row he accomplished that feat.  Turkovic's first goal of the game came late in the first half to give the Hornets (13-3; 11-3 Region III) a 1-0 lead over the Panthers (8-7; 8-6 Region III) going into halftime.

Eight minutes into the second half Turkovic notched his second goal off an assist from Damian Rutan.  Turkovic turned provider for the third and final goal of the game when he set up Virgil Isenia to compete the scoring for Broome.  Luke Duncan and Gustavo Cichorski-Ribeiro split time in net for the Hornets having a total of 6 saves, 5 by Duncan and 1 by Cichorski-Ribeiro.

Broome will close out the regular season this Saturday at 3:00 P.M. when they host Genesee CC , currently in the 3rd ranked team in the NJCAA.
