Soccer Falls In Semifinal

The men's soccer team fell to Cayuga CC, 5-1, in Auburn last night in a Region III semifinal match.  The Spartans (13-3) took a 1-0 lead into halftime over the visiting Hornets (11-5) before exploding for 4 goals in the second half and take a 5-0 lead.  Broome finally managed to get on the board courtesy of a Kody Curtis goal with the assist going to Damian RutanLuke Duncan had 9 assists on the evening while Gustavo Cichorski-Ribeiro had 1 save for the Hornets. 
 
Cayuga will now face Genesee, a 7-0 winner over Tompkins Cortland, this Sunday for the District A Championship.
