Men Earn Shutout In MSAC Match

The men's soccer team earned a 3-0 victory against Onondaga CC Wednesday afternoon in a MSAC match played on Alumni Field.  Nazar Fedorchuk opened the scoring for SUNY Broome with an unassisted goal in the 27th minute, his first of the season.  Captain Charlie Desforges notched the second goal of the game in the 37th minute off a well stuck free kick, his ninth goal in eight games.  Desforges then turned provider for Thomas Gilroy to round out the scoring in the 41st minute. Adam Burns finished with three saves. 

The Hornets improved to 7-3 overall while the Lazers dropped to 7-3.

Broome travels to Herkimer, NY on Saturday for a match against Herkimer College, the nations top ranked team, scheduled for a 3:00 P.M. start.
