Men Fall To Nation's Top Ranked Team

Herkimer College proved to be too much for Broome on Saturday afternoon, falling to the Generals 6-1 in a Region III matchup played in Herkimer, NY.  The NJCAA's top ranked team scored their first goal in the 4th minute and never looked back.  Chris Capaldo led the host team with three goals to help Herkimer improve to 12-0 on the year. 

Ismar Turkovic finally got Broome on the board in the 75th minute to avoid the shutout.  Adam Burns gave up 6 goals and had 5 saves on the afternoon.  The loss gives Broome a 7-4 record with 6 games remaining in the regular season.

The Hornets travel to Queensbury, NY on Wednesday for another Region III matchup against SUNY Adirondack scheduled to begin at 3:30 P.M.
