The men's soccer team fell to the nation's 3rd ranked team, Genesee CC, on Saturday in Batavia by a score of 5-1. The Hornets fought hard but couldn't provide the upset against the host team. Charlie Desforges scored the lone goal for Broome to avoid the shutout and Adam Burns finished the match with 8 saves.
Broome (12-3) earned a #4 seed in the Region III Tournament and will host the #5 seed, Onondaga CC (8-5) this Thursday at 2:00 P.M. at Alumni Field.
