The Hornets rebounded from a couple losses by defeating Corning CC, 3-0, on Wednesday in a MSAC match played in Corning. The Hornets were strong throughout, scoring in the 14th minute via Dave Casimir, courtesy of a River McCumisky assist. Nazar Fedorchuk capped off a good first half for the Hornets with a left footed, half volley from the edge of the box, assisted by Elliot Booth after a good combination on the right wing.
Ten minutes after the restart, McCumisky won and then scored a wonderful free-kick from the edge of the box. Broome out shot the hosts, 19-5 to earn the win.
Broome will host Niagara County CC this Saturday at Alumni Field with a 1:00 P.M. start time.
