Men's Soccer Earns Shutout

The men's soccer team shutout Erie CC, 5-0, in a Region III match played at home on Saturday.  Broome controlled the game throughout, with captain Jacob Wlostowski opening the scoring off an assist from Nazar Fedorchuk.  Broome then scored a well worked goal through Michael Repp, again assisted by Fedorchuk for a 2-0 haltime lead.

Jeremias Agustin Ramirez sealed the win off a well hit free kick by Wlostoski.  Jonjayro Morocho then got his name on the scoresheet, with Michael Repp being the provider before Dave Casimir rounded off the scoring in the 89th minute after a brilliant solo effort.  The Hornets  outshot the Kats 18-7.  Keeper, Adam Burns had four saves in goal for the hosts.  Broome improved to 5-5-1 on the season while Erie fell to 6-4.

Broome will host Jamestown CC next Saturday, scheduled for a 3:00 P.M. kickoff.
