The men's soccer team hosted Jamestown CC on Saturday and settled the game in a tie, ending at one goal apiece. Broome's only goal came in the 29th minute. After a great assist from Jonjayro Morocho, Michael Repp powered the header past the Falcon keeper.
Jamestown managed to grab an equalizer with 15 minutes left in regulation to send the match into OT. After two ten minute overtime periods and no winning goal, the 110 minute contest went to the PK to decide potential seedings for the upcoming Region III playoffs. Broome won the penalty kicks 4-2, without missing from the spot. Adam Burns finished in goal with 8 saves and was the hero in PK's, saving 2/4 shots.
The Hornets (5-5-2) will host Tompkins Cortland CC (2-9) this Wednesday at 4:00 P.M. in a MSAC matchup.
