Broome fell behind early to Genesee CC and never recovered, falling to the Cougars 6-1 in a Region III soccer match played at home on Saturday.  It was a rough first half for the host team, as the visitors scored four unanswered goals with lightning speed.  Broome was able to reply with a goal of their own through Nazar Fedorchuk, assisted by River McCumisky before Genesee managed to grab another two before the half and make it 6-1.   The second half ended without a goal by either team.  Adam Burns had 12 saves in goal for the Hornets.

Up next is a trip to Dryden for a rescheduled match with the Panthers this Monday beginning at 5:00 P.M.
