Tennis Places 3rd In NJCAA Region III Tournament

The SUNY Broome tennis team placed 3rd in the NJCAA Region III Tennis Tournament this weekend in Queensbury, NY. The tournament, hosted by SUNY Adirondack on Saturday and Sunday, was won by Onondaga CC with 14 points, followed by Mohawk Valley (9 pts.), SUNY Broome (4 pts.) and SUNY Adirondack (0 pts.). Onondaga took the top four flights in singles and the top two in doubles, while Mohawk Valley picked up the rest.

Griffin Goosman lost in the No.2 Final, Aaron Williams fell in the No.3 Final and Sidney Snead lost in the No.6 Final. The No. 1 doubles team of Benjamin Gonzalez and Corey Cadwell fell in the Finals, while the teams of Goosman and Williams, and Tyler Klossner and Sean King lost in the Semi-Finals.

#3 Matt Miller/Cameron Tabor (MVCC) def. /King (Broome) 6-4, 2-6, 6-4
