Softball Swept At Home

The softball team dropped both of their games on Saturday to Monroe CC at BAGSAI by scores of 6-0 in game one and 4-2 in game two.  The opener was all Tribunes, Amber Terlaje was able to silence the Hornets bats giving up just one hit, a double to Mikayla Garbarino

Game two saw Broome (7-3) put up 2 runs in the top of the first inning, the lead would be short lived as Monroe put up 3 runs or their own in the bottom of the first.  Monroe got one more run in the fourth inning for the final 4-2 score.  Broome was led by Mackensie Gravelin with 3 hits, and Kylee Warner and Garbarino collecting 2 hits apiece.  

Broome will host Columbia-Greene CC on Tuesday at the BAGSAI Softball Complex with the fist pitch scheduled to be thrown at 3:00 P.M.
