Broome traveled to Rochester for their last scheduled regular season game and came back with a split against Monroe CC, dropping game one in extra innings 6-5, and winning game two 4-3.  The Hornets jumped out to a 5-1 lead after four innings of play  before the Tribunes scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh to tie the game 5-5.  Broome failed to score in the top of the eighth, setting the stage for Monroe's come from behind win in the bottom of the inning.  With a runner placed on second base, in accordance with the International Tie Breaker rule, Monroe's Brooke Catlin laced a double to center to drive in the winning run.  Mikayla Garbarino led Broome with four hits in the opener, including a double, followed by Courtney George, Madison Lapinski, Laurel Pernesky-Currier and McKenna Wheaton, all with two hits each.  RBIs were had by Garbarino and Wheaton with two apiece, and Lapinski with one.

Game two saw the Tribunes jump out to a 3-0 lead in the top of the first inning but that was all the runs the Hornets would allow in the contest.  Broome tied the game in the second inning and scored the game-winner in the bottom of the fourth when George hit a single and scored two batters later when Pernesky-Currier singled to drive in her third run of the game.  Garbarino stayed hot picking up three more hits, giving her a total of seven for the day.  Pernesky-Currier also picked up three hits of her own and George had two in the game.  Abby Mancini chipped in with an RBI on her lone hit in game two.  Keyairra Woolfolk earned the win on the mound, giving her a record of 17-7 in Region III play.

The Hornets continue to improve in Region III play finishing the regular season with a record of 17-11, good enough for a sixth place finish.
