The women's basketball team earned their first win of the season, a 61-54 Region III victory over SUNY Delhi at Clarke Field House in Delhi, NY Saturday afternoon. The Hornets trailed at the half 23-21 before outscoring the Broncos 40-31 in the second half. Danielle Conway (Bainbridge-Guilford/Bainbridge, NY) led all scorers with 29 points and 18 rebounds, Randi Conway (Bainbridge-Guilford/Bainbridge, NY) also notched a double double with 17 points and 12 boards.
The Hornets are off now until next Saturday when they host North Country CC at 1:00 p.m. in the Baldwin Gym.
