The Hornets fell to Region III opponent North Country CC 73-64 in the Baldwin Gym on Saturday afternoon. Danielle Conway (Bainbridge-Guilford/Bainbridge, NY) led three SUNY Broome scorers that reached double digits with 16 points, Randi Conway (Bainbridge-Guilford/Bainbridge, NY) chipped in with 15 points including 8-8 from the free throw line and Bethany Atwood (Whitney Point/Whitney Point, NY) added 12 points. The Hornets (1-4) trailed the Saints (6-1) 45-26 at the half before outscoring North Country 38-28 in the second half.
SUNY Broome travels to Queensbury, NY tomorrow for a 1:00 p.m. contest against SUNY Adirondack.
