The women's basketball team gave up the lead early in the second half before pulling away in a 62-45 MSAC win over Corning CC Wednesday evening in the Baldwin Gymnasium. Danielle Conway (Bainbridge-Guilford/Bainbridge, NY) had a huge night for the host team with 27 points, 14 rebounds, 5 assists, 8 steals and 3 blocks. Randi Conway (Bainbridge-Guilford/Bainbridge, NY) chipped in with 19 points. Marissa Pike led the Red Barons with 23 points, 20 of those came in the second half.
The Hornets play next this Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in the Baldwin Gymnasium against MSAC opponent Jefferson CC. The women will travel to Schenetady CC for a 1:00 p.m. tip-off on Sunday afternoon.
