The women's basketball team lost to Fulton-Montgomery CC 73-45 at home Sunday afternoon in the 2nd of back-to-back Region III contests. The Raiders came into Sunday's game ranked 3rd in Region III behind Herkimer College and Mohawk Valley CC. Once again the Hornets were in a close contest after the 1st quarter but it was all Raiders from there, led by Moet Jenkins with 22 points.

Broome's scoring was spread across the board with no one reaching double figures. Jessica Shear (Endwell, NY/Maine-Endwell) and Maddie Blackman (Binghamton, NY/Susquehanna Valley) each had 8 points to lead the Hornets. Chandler Prouty (Oneonta, NY/Milford) added 7 points and Monee Julien (Bronx, NY/Gateway) came off the bench and hit all three of her shots for 7 points.

Up next for the Hornets is a road game in Delhi this Friday against the Broncos with the tip-off set for 5:00 P.M.
