The women's basketball team lost to North Country CC 69-62 in closely contested Region III game at home on Saturday. The Hornets held a 36-32 halftime lead over the Saints but couldn't hang on in the second half despite season highs of 45.1% from the field and 45.5% from the 3-point line in the game. 

The balanced effort was led by Maddie Blackman (Binghamton, NY/Susquehanna Valley) who turned in a collegiate best 20 points to go along with 12 rebounds, Jessica Shear (Endwell, NY/Maine-Endwell) shot 50% from the floor for 12 points, Lydia Ladd (Johnson City, NY/Johnson City) chipped in with 10 points of the bench and Lucille Dellos (Johnson City, NY/Johnson City) added 9 points, 9 assists, 3 steals and 1 block.

Broome is off until December 3rd when they travel across town for a non-conference game against Davis College beginning at 6:00 P.M.
