Tompkins Cortland CC proved to be too much for SUNY Broome, handing them a 92-53 conference loss in the Baldwin Gym Saturday afternoon. The loss drops the Hornets to 1-9 on the year and 0-2 in the MSAC.

The Hornets were led by Jessica Shear (Endwell, NY/Maine-Endwell) with a career best 18 points to go along with her 5 assists. Lucille Dellos (Johnson City, NY/Johnson City) added 15 points and Annie Tokos (Vestal, NY/Vestal) chipped in with 10 points. Maddie Blackman (Conklin, NY/Susquehanna Valley) had a big day on the boards with 19 rebounds.

The Hornets travel to Syracuse on Tuesday for a MSAC match up against Onondaga CC scheduled to tip at 5:00 p.m.
