Women Fall At Home

The women's basketball team fell to the MSAC 2nd ranked team 51-39 Wednesday evening at home. The Hornets (1-12;0-5) were down by 3 points at the end of the 3rd quarter thanks to a stingy defense that allowed only 7 points in that frame. The Red Barons (12-5;5-1) were able to pull away in the 4th behind the scoring of Morgan Stratton and Amber Edwards.

Broome saw a balanced effort led by Maddie Blackman (Conklin, NY/Susquehanna Valley) with 12 points and 7 rebounds, Lucille Dellos (Johnson City, NY/Johnson City) added 11 points and 3 assists and Chandler Prouty (Oneonta, NY/Milford) chipped in with 9 points and 4 assists.
