The women's basketball team fell 64-37 in a MSAC game Wednesday night in Canandaigua. Broome failed to score more than 10 points in each quarter against Finger Lakes CC. Turnovers (19) and cold shooting from the field (25%) plagued the Hornets throughout the game.

Megan Howell led the Lakers (7-14;3-5) with 16 points and 9 rebounds while Broome (2-14;0-7) was led by Chandler Prouty (Oneonta, NY/Milford) with 12 points and 6 boards.

The Hornets travel to Dryden on Saturday for a 1:00 p.m. tip-off against the Panthers from Tompkins Cortland CC for a MSAC matchup.
