The women's basketball team dropped a MSAC game in Dryden Saturday afternoon to Tompkins Cortland CC 63-41. The Panthers got out to a 17-8 first quarter lead and never looked back. Poor shooting (17.5%) and turnovers once again hampered the Hornets offense.
Victoria Mattarell led the host team with 14 points. Ashley Lomonaco (Binghamton, NY/Binghamton) came off the bench and posted a double-double with 15 points and 11 boards, including an 11-14 showing at the charity stripe.
SUNY Broome will host the NJCAA's 5th ranked team, Onondaga CC, this Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. in the Baldwin Gym.
