The women's basketball team lost their 3rd straight game to the NJCAA's 5th ranked team Onondaga CC, 95-53 Wednesday evening in the Baldwin Gym. In arguably the best quarter of the season the Hornets ended the 1st quarter down 21-20 behind Chandler Prouty's (Oneonta, NY/Milford) 7 points before the Lazers made adjustments and outscored the hosts 74-33 in the last three quarters.
Ashley Lomonaco (Binghamton, NY/Binghamton) came off the bench to lead the Hornets in scoring with 14 points and Maddie Blackman (Conklin, NY/ Susquehanna Valley) chipped in with 13 points. The Lazers were led by Jordan Vaught with 16 points.
Up next for the Hornets is a 1:00 p.m. MSAC contest this Saturday against the Spartans from Cayuga CC.
